In August 2017, another player dormitory for the age range U14 to U16 was opened in Zuzenhausen. Up to twelve players can live in single rooms directly in the performance center. A dormitory for players is also attached there. The U17 and U19 train in the performance center (LZ). The change from basic to advanced training is carried out, which is the focus of the Academy Arena (AA) completed in summer 2016 for the U14, U15 and U16 teams. The academy's first sporting director was Matthias Born (2006–2009), most recently Dirk Mack (2015–2020), the former association sports teacher of the Württemberg Football Association, was the director of the young generation.
